New Paintings 2009 + ++ Works on Paper

Belinda Eaton’s magic realism paintings and portraits evoke a world of colour, vivid characters, swirling spaces, uncontained energy that can’t be trapped by the limits of the canvas, images constantly on the move, living life, dancing, drinking, and eating. Within the canvas there are no boundaries of subject, perspective or reality, just the borrowings from all that she has been exposed to. Belinda Eaton graduated with a B.A. Fine Art from St.Martins School of Art, London, in 1983.

Belinda exhibited her paintings at the Biennale Internazionale dell'Arte Contemporanea, Firenze (Florence Biennale) in 2005. Belinda Eaton showed her paintings at the Art Affair Gallery in Regensburg, Germany in September 2006 and in December 2006 at the Art Affair Gallery in Cannes, France. Belinda participated in the Union Méditerranéenne pour l'Art Moderne , held from April-June 2007 in Nice, France.

Belinda had a solo exhibition of her paintings at the V.M.Gallery, Karachi on November 21st-29th 2008 and will be exhibiting her work at the Art Fair in 's-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands from April 19th - 26th 2009.
